The RIDGID 141 NPT (36620) NPT Receding Geared Threader with High-Speed Dies is designed to thread 2 1/2 in. to 4 in. pipe. A cam type workholder is used to grip the pipe while the die head cuts the threads. A clutch is included to prevent jamming at the end of the thread. The threader can be used for both tapered and straight right hand threads with a simple adjustment. The 141 can be powered in a variety of ways, including operation by hand or with various RIDGID Threading Machines and Power Drives. Using the 840A Universal Driveshaft, it can be operated with the 300/300A Power Drive, 300 Compact, 535 and 535A Threading Machines (all sold separately). Threading can also be performed using the D-1440 Ratchet (sold separately). The 141 Receding Geared Threader can be adjusted for different thread size and types. The Model 141 Threader can thread 2 1/2", 3", 3 1/2" and 4" pipes with NPT threads. The threader can also be adjusted for tapered or straight threads.
