Makita is no stranger to Cordless Concrete Vibrators withthe first model introduced in 1999. The new 4ï¿½ LXT models are ideal forapplications where the professional residential and commercial contractor needscordless portability, such as, footers, slabs, walls, repairs and insulatedconcrete forms. The 8ï¿½ LXT models will handle the similar applications as the4ï¿½ models with even more versatility, such as, on an 8ï¿½ retaining wall.
Along with the Makita-built motor producing an efficient13,000 VPM (4ï¿½ flexible shaft) and 12,500 VPM (8ï¿½ flexible shaft) the 1ï¿½vibrator head helps increase the strength of concrete. For less operatorfatigue, the 4ï¿½ models weigh only 8.2 lbs. and the 8ï¿½ models weigh 11.7 lbs. Inaddition, there is an ergonomic two-directional switch that adds more comfortwhen holding the Concrete Vibrators in vertical or horizontal positions. Thereis also a protective battery cover that protects the LXT battery from thedebris and concrete found on the jobsite. With the Makita best-in-classengineering, LXT Lithium-Ion 3.0Ah battery and 45-minute Optimum ChargingSystem the LXT Concrete Vibrators have a run time of up to 25 minutes on asingle charge.
Models BVR540 and BVR850 are kits that include (2) two LXTLithium-Ion (3.0Ah) batteries, 45-minute Optimum charger and-duty case whilemodels BVR450Z and BVR850Z are tools only.
