The RIDGID 28048 V1/C1 Combo ProPress Ring kit is designed to mechanically press ProPress fittings onto 1/2", 3/4" 1" and 1 1/4" tubing. An individual ring is required for each tubing size. 1/2" through 1 1/4" rings can be actuated with either a C1 actuator (included) and Compact Series Press Tools or a V1 actuator (included) and Standard Series Press Tools. The ProPress rings must be used perpendicular to the fitting and tube being pressed but the ball pocket/tip feature on the rings and actuators allows the actuator and press tool to swivel up to 90 degrees in each direction. This allows the rings and actuators to be used in some applications where the jaw sets and pressing tool will not fit. The ProPress rings are marked to show the correct actuator for use with that ring.
