The RIDGID 711 (26132) Universal Self-Opening Die Head for Model 1224, RH, 1/4" to 2" NPT, is designed for use with the model 1224 threading machine. The self-opening die head can be automatically opened for 1/2" through 2" pipe sizes. A trigger is used to open the die head when the NPT thread is complete. For 1/4" to 3/8" sizes, the die head is manually opened when the thread is complete.
